Wimmera netballers Sacha Mcdonald and Maggie Caris have won selection in national squads.
Victorian Fury netballer Mcdonald, whose home club is Edenhope-apsley, made the 19 and under national squad.
Caris, from Horsham Saints, was selected in both 17 and under and tall athlete squads.
The squads were selected after the National Netball Championships.
Athletes were chosen based on the demonstration of their potential as well as their performances throughout the six-day tournament.
Both Mcdonald and Caris will attend national squad camps at the Netball Centre of Excellence in Canberra.
The 19 and under and tall athlete camp will run from July 9 to 12, with the 17 and under camp from October 1 to 5.
The national squad camps will feature an international competition, with New Zealand and England sending teams to train and participate in practice matches.
The tall athlete program aims to foster and develop taller athletes and features specialist coaching along with additional development and learning opportunities for both goalies and defenders.
