Wickliffe-lake Bolac sits unbeaten and a game clear of the field on the top of the ladder, but only percentage separates Penshurst, Moyston-willaura, Glenthompsondunkeld in second, third and fourth spots respectively. Great Western and Tatyoon are next, both with three wins from five games.

Last week, Great Western ran into Glenthompson-dunkeld, finishing in arrears by 44 points, while Tatyoon had an important 19-point win over Woorndoo-mortlake.

Wickliffe-lake Bolac consolidated its position with a comprehensive win over SMW Rovers and Moyston-willaura finished 38 points better than Ararat Eagles in an intriguing game at Ararat’s Alexandra Oval.

Penshurst scored a 10-goal-plus win over Lismore-derrinallum and Hawkesdale-macarthur ran away with a contest against Caramut.
