Senior complex next step for college

-

Horsham Holy Trinity Lutheran College will host an open day for prospective families on Sunday.

The event will run from 11am to 1pm and will allow families to experience a day in the life of the college.

Parents and children will have an opportunity to tour the campus, exploring the college’s state-of-the-art facilities and observing its ‘innovative and dynamic’ learning programs in action.

Stage one of the new senior school building is expected to be completed by the start of 2019. This will coincide with the college’s first-ever class of year 12s – meaning its expansion to offer quality, Christian education to all year levels will be complete.

The new senior complex will provide state-of-the-art pre-tertiary learning facilities for students in years 10 to 12.

The first stage boasts general learning areas, tutorial rooms, a resource centre, science labs, a maker space and an agora.

The car park will also be extended to accommodate a growing number of students and the college’s main administration will move in to the new building.

The second stage of the senior complex, which will start construction in 2020, will include additional sport science classrooms and the college’s second gym.

The addition of the senior complex to the campus will provide collaborative, dynamic and innovative learning spaces for all students from the start of their education until they graduate.
