Senior golf at Sheep Hills

Players representing Sheep Hills, Horsham, Nhill, Dimboola, Minyip, Drung and Grange took part in a Wimmera Senior Ladies Golf Association event at Sheep Hills.

Heather Richards from Dimboola won division one of the stableford competition with 37 points from runner-up Evelyn Adams, Sheep Hills, 36.

In division two, Sandra Deckert, Drung, won with 35 from Lorraine Gladigau, Horsham, 34.

In super veterans, Drung’s Shirley Schorback won with 33 points on a countback from Sheep Hills’ Valmai Rattray. Best nines: Out, Jenny Creek, Nhill, 20; in, Wendy Norton, Dimboola-nhill, 18. Nearest the pins: Fourth, Jenny Creek, Nhill; seventh, Jo Donnelly, Dimboola; 16th, Evelyn Adams, Sheep Hills.

The association’s next event will be at Drung on June 18 with hitoff at 10am.
