Dress for a farmer day

Hor­sham stu­dents will dress like a farmer, for farm­ers, on Fri­day.

Hor­sham schools are pitch­ing in to help farm­ers do­ing it tough, with money raised to go to drought-re­lief char­i­ties.

Hor­sham, Hor­sham West and Haven, La­harum and Na­timuk pri­mary schools are par­tic­i­pat­ing in the fundraiser.

Stu­dents are en­cour­aged to wear farm-style cloth­ing and bring a gold coin do­na­tion.

Hor­sham Col­lege will have a ‘Flanny for a Farmer’ free­dress day.

Stu­dents are en­cour­aged to dress in their favourite flan­nelette shirt and bring a gold coin do­na­tion.

New South Wales and Queens­land are bear­ing the brunt of the drought, although farm­ers in Vic­to­ria, South Aus­tralia and Queens­land are also suf­fer­ing.
