Blair wins bronze in Ger­many

For­mer Hor­sham bas­ket­baller Jan­nik Blair scored eight points in Aus­tralia’s bronze medal win at the FIBA 2018 In­ter­na­tional Wheel­chair Bas­ket­ball Fed­er­a­tion World Cham­pi­onships in Ham­burg, Ger­many. Blair also pulled in seven re­bounds. His Aus­tralian Rollers de­feated Iran 68-57 in the bronze medal match at the cham­pi­onships.

The bronze con­tin­ues the Rollers’ suc­cess­ful run at the world cham­pi­onships.

The team has earned a medal at each of the past four tour­na­ments, in­clud­ing gold medals in 2014 and 2010.

Great Bri­tain de­feated the USA 69-72 to win this year’s gold medal.

The cham­pi­onships con­cluded on Sun­day.
