Minyip students fly high

Minyip Primary School students are gaining hands-on experience in electronic flying drone technology as a result of Yarriambiack Shire Council community grants.

The school was successful in its request for money to buy 20 drones, machines similar to products used by some of the children’s parents in broadacre agriculture.

School principal Ben Tait said the drones provided students with an engaging and fun way to learn and use modern technology.
