Hospice to host garden walk

Wimmera residents and visitors can experience six unique Horsham gardens during a Sunday afternoon walk.

Wimmera Hospice Care Auxiliary will host a Garden Walk on October 28 to raise money to help palliative care patients in the region.

The event will run from 1pm to 5pm, with Horsham Croquet Club to present afternoon tea and plant and craft stalls during the same period.

Devonshire tea is included in the $15 ticket price.

All money raised will go towards vital equipment to support people living with life-limiting illnesses, and their families and carers.

The hospice care team visits patients in their homes, aged care centres and hospitals.

Wimmera Hospice Care services Horsham, Hindmarsh, Yarriambiack and West Wimmera municipalities.
