Stawell project launch party

Stawell residents can celebrate a $1.35-million Main Street upgrade at a launch event next month.

Northern Grampians Shire Council will host a launch party on October 26 celebrating the town’s businesses and the completion of the Stawell CBD Revitalisation Project.

Cr Karen Hyslop said the launch party would be in Main Street from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

“We’re encouraging residents and community groups to come along to the launch party and help celebrate the project’s completion and local business in general,” she said.

The upgrade includes new onstreet dining and retail zones, green zones, road reconstruction, pedestrian crossings, street plantings and seating areas.
