Club service rewarded

Stawell Harness Racing Club officials have presented major awards to members who have made significant contributions to the club.

Club leaders presented Jeffrey Hargreaves with a 25year service medal for his contribution to a committee, as a track attendant, trials mobile driver and many other positions.

Officials also presented Shannon Tate with a 20-year service medal for his casual employment with the club in the roles of yardman, track attendant, gaming cashier and gaming supervisor.

Jenny Martin also received a 10-year service medal for her dedication as head waitress in the club’s catering department.
