Veteran golfers head to Edenhope

Wimmera veteran golfers will turn their attention to a four-ball best-ball stableford event at Edenhope on October 15 after playing at Grange Golf Club at Stawell.

The Grange stableford on Monday last week attracted 46 golfers and players teed off in good conditions.

The day produced good scores with Chalambar golfer Ken Hurnall scoring 45 points to win an A Grade trophy. He won from Mal Elliott, 38.

Ron Dodds won B Grade with 40 from David Fiscalini, 39, and Rob Johns won C Grade with 36 points on countback from Norrie Poulton. Nearest the pins: Second, Harry Conway; seventh, Leon Toy; ninth, Daryl Dunford; 10th, Ken Hurnall; 14th, Ferdie Masiero.
