Invitation to visit the Wild West

The Weekly Advertiser Horsham - - News -

Horsham West and Haven Primary School students have invited Wimmera residents and visitors to visit the Wild West next week.

The school will present The Good, The Bad and The Gossipy in Horsham Town Hall from Wednesday to Friday at 7.30pm.

The rollicking musical comedy, written and directed by Larissa Riddell, revolves around a group of mysterious strangers visiting Snakebite Springs.

The performers will act, sing and dance their way through a ‘hilarious tale of misconception and misunderstanding’.

Ms Riddell said the students looked forward to seeing their work come to fruition.

“We actually first performed this play back in 2013, but we’ve done a bit of re-scripting and redrafting,” she said.

“The kids have been working since term three but auditions were in term two, so we’ve been working for a long time.”

About 110 students are involved in the production.

“They’ve been working hard and doing a great job,” Ms Riddell said.

“They’re going to put on quite an entertaining show.”

Tickets from $10 are available online at www.horshamtown or at the town hall box office.
