Dance students ready for recital

-

Horsham School of Dance students are putting the finishing touches on their performances ahead of the school’s annual recital on Sunday.

This year’s recital is called Animalia and will feature more than 140 dancers, with the youngest three years of age.

The dancers will perform as creatures of the animal kingdom, incorporating ballet, hip-hop, contemporary and Irish dancing styles.

Principal Karen Booker encouraged people to attend the recital at Horsham Town Hall.

“The students have spent many hours each week rehearsing to be ready to present an amazing show for Horsham audiences,” she said.

“With vibrant and stunning costumes and dynamic music the show will definitely appeal to all ages.”

Dancers will present two performances, at 11am and 2.45pm.

Tickets are available from $15 to $20 online at www.horshamtownhall.com.au or at the town hall box office.
