Response to Dooen honour rolls

A call for families with connections to names on honour rolls set to be rehung at Dooen Public Hall has generated a response.

Mary Dodds of Riverside has donated a framed photograph from 1919 of Dooen North school pupils.

The photograph features some siblings of soldiers who feature on restored honour roles at the hall and includes Mrs Dodds’ mother. Project leaders have invited families with connections to the rolls to a re-hanging ceremony at the hall at 2pm on November 10.
