Snapshots of Willaura

Snapshots of Willaura district salt lakes are part of a regional photographic display at Willaura Modern Railway Station Gallery.

Ararat photographer Ainsley Cameron has found the district a ‘photographer’s paradise’ and her images are part of an ‘In Focus’ exhibition.

The exhibition involves creative work of regional photographers.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Willaura Modern has launched ‘Willaura Snapshot 2018’, a photography competition based on images that show the unique experiences, places and faces of the Willaura town district.

Prizes are up for grabs in the competition that provides opportunities for novice and experienced photographers. Entries are open until November 18, with winners announced at a special event at 6pm on November 30.

The In Focus exhibition is open by appointment or on Fridays from 10am to 1pm; Sunday and November 18, from 2pm to 4pm.
