Balmoral pledge

-

The Liberal-nationals have pledged to provide $672,500 for a new community centre at Balmoral if they win the state election.

Speaking at a Balmoral show and shine event, Member for Lowan Emma Kealy said $472,500 would go towards building costs and the remaining $200,000 to fitting out a new kitchen.

“Current infrastructure at Balmoral Recreation Reserve is white-ant ridden and some areas are unsafe for public use,” she said.

“The Balmoral Recreation Reserve Committee and residents have done a fabulous job in raising more than $370,000 towards this community project.

“The new complex will be a fantastic multiuse community asset that will serve as a meeting place for the Balmoral community and our region for generations to come.”
