Playing for drought support
Money raised by a Real Estate Agents Golf Day at Ararat’s Chalambar Golf Club on November 25 will help support drought-affected farmers.
Elders, First National and Landmark Harcourts real estate agencies in Ararat have organised the event.
The competition will feature a four-person ambrose at 10.30am, followed by happy-hour drinks, barefoot bowls and musical entertainment.
Elders’ David Jennings encouraged golfers to get friends together for the event.
“This should be a pleasant Sunday afternoon. We are hoping this will be an annual event on the golfing calendar for the Chalambar club and us going forward,” he said.
Mr Jennings said the field would be capped and asked players or sponsors keen to get involved to RSVP by emailing david.jennings@eldersre. com.au or calling 0417 371 872 by November 20.
