Horsham’s Wimmera Lodge retirement village celebrated the 140th birthday of owning and managing company Keyinvest with a lunch and entertainment for residents on Friday.
Horsham College choir and singerpianist Bernadette Delahunty treated residents to performances during the celebration.
The village, which is under construction on Dumesny Street, is planned to have 44 homes when completed. About half of the homes have been built, with about 30 residents already living there.
Keyinvest chief executive Steve Aspinall said the company was happy to celebrate its milestone with residents.
“We were delighted to share our special birthday with the residents at Wimmera Lodge,” he said.
