Lodge cel­e­brates

Hor­sham’s Wim­mera Lodge re­tire­ment vil­lage cel­e­brated the 140th birth­day of own­ing and man­ag­ing com­pany Key­in­vest with a lunch and en­ter­tain­ment for res­i­dents on Fri­day.

Hor­sham Col­lege choir and singer­pi­anist Ber­nadette De­lahunty treated res­i­dents to per­for­mances dur­ing the cel­e­bra­tion.

The vil­lage, which is un­der con­struc­tion on Dumesny Street, is planned to have 44 homes when com­pleted. About half of the homes have been built, with about 30 res­i­dents al­ready liv­ing there.

Key­in­vest chief ex­ec­u­tive Steve Aspinall said the com­pany was happy to cel­e­brate its mile­stone with res­i­dents.

“We were de­lighted to share our spe­cial birth­day with the res­i­dents at Wim­mera Lodge,” he said.
