Pulford takes on new ministries

Upper house Labor Member for Western Victoria Jaala Pulford has changed ministries as part of a State Government cabinet reshuffle.

Ms Pulford, of Ballarat who regularly visits the Wimmera, takes over Roads, Road Safety and the TAC and Fishing and Boating ministries. She was previously Agriculture and Regional Development minister.

Roads are a major issue in the region and recreation angling and boating are major pastimes.

Agriculture and Regional Development portfolios, as well as Resources and Legislative Council deputy leader responsibilities, will go to Jaclyn Symes if she wins a tight Northern Victoria upper-house election count.
