Cash injection helps VICSES
Victoria State Emergency Service Horsham unit is using money from insurance partner AAMI WR EX\ HTXLSPHQW WR KHOS YROXQWHHUV UHVSRQG WR incidents in the region.
Purchases include hydraulic rescue and power tools, chainsaws, generators and remote-area OLJKWLQJ HTXLSPHQW
AAMI, VICSES’ principal community partner since 2002, has provided $600,000 to the response organisation this year.
Last year the VICSES Horsham unit responded to more than 61 emergency calls for help. The PDMRULW\ RI UHTXHVWV ZHUH URDG UHVFXHV
Horsham unit is one of 102 units across the state accredited in road rescues.
Horsham unit controller Jarrod Mclean said AAMI had been a fantastic partner for many years.
