All-abilities celebration at Nhill

Hindmarsh Shire Council will host an event celebrating International Day of People with Disabilities today at Nhill’s Jaypex Park.

The event will be from 11am to 2pm and focus on empowering people of all abilities.

A treasure hunt, games and painting activities are included in the program.

A free barbecue lunch will also be provided.

Mayor Ron Ismay said the council was looking forward to celebrating with the Hindmarsh community.

“This event is important for our community and works towards the celebration, inclusion and awareness of people of all abilities,” he said.
