Drug forum

Wimmera Drug Action Taskforce will deliver a ‘Tackling Illegal Drugs’ forum in partnership with the Australian Drug Foundation in February.

The forum will target sports clubs in the Wimmera and will give attendees an opportunity to learn more about dealing with illegal drugs.

Taskforce co-ordinator Sally Pymer said statistics showed more than 40 percent of Australians aged 14 and over had tried an illegal substance.

She said drug use was a widespread issue and could affect any sports club.

The forum will be on Wednesday, February 27 from 7pm to 9pm at Horsham RSL conference room.
