Youngcare grants

Wimmera families caring for a person with high care needs at home can apply for grants of between $2000 and $10,000 with not-for-profit charity Youngcare.

Nationals Member for Lowan Emma Kealy encouraged families to take advantage of the At Home Care grants.

“The grants provide funding for equipment, home modifications and essential support or respite to enhance the quality of life for people aged 18 to 65 with high care needs and their carers,” she said.

Ms Kealy said individuals who do not receive NDIS funding are eligible to apply.
