Swimming championships

Swimmers from across Western Victoria will compete in School Sports Victoria Greater Western Zone finals at Horsham Aquatic Centre on Friday.

Forty-eight schools will send about 500 swimmers to the meeting.

The day starts at 9am with a secondary school boys and girls aged 12 to 20 years section.

A primary school event for boys and girls aged nine to 13 years will start at 1pm.

Winners will progress to state finals later in the year. Spectators are welcome.
