Pacing cup backing

The State Government provided $9000 to support The Weekly Advertiser Horsham Pacing Cup on Sunday.

Horsham District Harness Racing Club also provided more than $11,000 and Horsham district businesses almost $8000.

Labor Member for Western Victoria Jaala Pulford said the government provided its share of money from its Victorian Racing Industry Fund Raceday Attraction Program.

Ms Pulford said the government had approved more than $311,000 to support two harness racing events and six infrastructure projects for Horsham and District Harness Racing Club since 2014.
