Petro­vich tops Mallee bal­lot pa­per

Lib­eral Party’s Serge Petro­vich sits on the top of a 13-can­di­date Mallee elec­torate bal­lot pa­per.

Aus­tralian Elec­toral Com­mis­sion rep­re­sen­ta­tives ran­domly plucked Mr Petro­vich’s name out first at a bal­lot draw in Mil­dura.

In­de­pen­dents Ce­cilia Moar of Horsham and Ja­son Mod­ica are sec­ond and third re­spec­tively.

Anne Web­ster, at­tempt­ing to step into the shoes of An­drew Broad to keep the seat in the hands of the Nationals, is fifth.

In­de­pen­dent Ray Kingston of Ru­pa­nyup sits 10th and Bal­moral’s Rick Millar rep­re­sent­ing Aus­tralia United Party is 12th.

Zephlyn Tay­lor from the Greens is at the top of a Wan­non elec­torate bal­lot pa­per fea­tur­ing five can­di­dates.

United Aus­tralia’s Josh Wallace is sec­ond, Stawell’s Mau­rice Billi from the La­bor Party third and in­de­pen­dent Alex Dyson fourth.

Sit­ting Lib­eral mem­ber and Ed­u­ca­tion Min­is­ter Dan Te­han is fifth on the pa­per.

Vot­ers will go to the polls on May 18.
