En­vi­ron­men­tal grants open

Mem­ber for Lowan Emma Kealy is en­cour­ag­ing volunteers help­ing to pro­tect and re­store Vic­to­ria’s land and en­vi­ron­ment to con­sider ap­ply­ing for money in the lat­est round of Vic­to­rian Land­care Grants.

Ms Kealy said en­vi­ron­men­tal vol­un­teer groups could ap­ply for project grants of up to $20,000 for on-ground works, ed­u­ca­tion and ca­pac­i­ty­build­ing projects that helped im­prove Vic­to­ria’s en­vi­ron­ment. She said sup­port grants of $500 were also avail­able to help with op­er­a­tion costs and to pro­vide a sta­ble base for Land­care and en­vi­ron­men­tal vol­un­teer­ing across Vic­to­ria.
