A two-day mind­ful­ness pro­gram to help peo­ple de­velop ef­fec­tive stress man­age­ment prac­tises will be at Hor­sham’s Cen­tre for Par­tic­i­pa­tion on Oc­to­ber 5 and 6.

Com­mu­nity group Healthy Minds Hor­sham is or­gan­is­ing a ‘Man­ag­ing Stress in Life and Work’ week­end course that will run from 10am to 3pm both days.

The pro­gram will in­clude an in­tro­duc­tion to mind­ful­ness, guided me­di­a­tions, Tai Chi and ex­er­cises, as well as in­for­ma­tion about how peo­ple can cope more ef­fec­tively with chal­lenges and stress.

Healthy Minds Hor­sham mem­ber Gavin Mor­row said three ex­pe­ri­enced fa­cil­i­ta­tors, Anja Tan­thane, Paul San­ders and Sarah Streeter, would lead the course.
