We Love Stawell spree

The historic city of Stawell will step into the spotlight on Friday as part of a regional campaign to emphasise the benefits of shopping in the region.

Stawell, undergoing a boost in development and growth, is a prominent shopping and social hub for a large and vibrant district community.

The Weekly Advertiser and radio stations 3WM and MIXX FM, as part of a regional ‘We Love’ campaign, have turned their attention to Stawell for a big one-day shopping spree.

The We Love Stawell Shopping Spree is designed to embrace and encourage Stawell district people to support their home-town businesses and busy enterprises.

As part of the promotion there will be bargains aplenty and shoppers at participating businesses have a chance to win one of two $250 vouchers from participating businesses.

Businesses and shoppers alike are enjoying the ‘We Love’ environment, designed to generate considerable trade and value for money. Support for the concept has meant The Weekly Advertiser has again published a gloss wraparound promotion.

As part of the promotion, MIXX FM will broadcast live from outside Stawell’s IGA supermarket from 10am until 2pm. There will also be updates on 3WM.

MIXX FM and 3WM promotion manager Kaycee Bould said The Weekly Advertiser and 3WM and MIXX FM team members would on site to welcome shoppers who register for a chance to win one of the shopping vouchers.

She said all people had to do is buy a product from participating Stawell businesses from 9am and present their shopping docket to the team at the broadcast area for a chance to win.

“I think this is a phenomenal way for people in Stawell to support local businesses and for local businesses to support their customers,” she said.

“We encourage everyone to make the most of this opportunity.”
