Money for St Ar­naud com­mu­nity gar­den

St Ar­naud Com­mu­nity Re­source Cen­tre is $3772 bet­ter off cour­tesy of a grant from WDEA Works Foun­da­tion.

The money will go to­wards the de­vel­op­ment of a gar­den bed de­sign, aimed at im­prov­ing ac­cess for el­derly and dis­abled com­mu­nity mem­bers in­volved in the cen­tre in part­ner­ship with St Ar­naud Com­mu­nity Kitchen.

A com­mu­nity gar­den pro­vides pro­duce to the com­mu­nity with a fo­cus on im­prov­ing the health of dis­ad­van­taged groups and en­cour­ag­ing shared learn­ing and home cook­ing.

WDEA Works is a not-for­profit com­mu­nity agency that pro­vides dis­abil­ity and main­stream em­ploy­ment help, re­cruit­ment and train­ing ser­vices and dis­abil­ity ser­vices.
