LET IT SNOW:
Parts of the Grampians transformed into a ‘magical winter wonderland’ at the weekend, with the thermostat dipping below zero. These picturesque scenes were enough to stop Halls Gap police Leading Senior Constable Sarah Bartorelli in her tracks to take this photo early on Sunday morning. Snr Cnst Bartorelli was on her way to Boroka Lookout on Mount Difficult Road when she took the image. Although snow on the Grampians’ highest point Mt William is common during winter, historic weather reports show snow in other parts of the national park is rare. Eyewatch – Horsham Police Service Area posted the image on its Facebook page on Monday and received more than 540 ‘likes’.
