WHAT A RUSH:

A series of cold fronts has left much of the region sodden and primed conditions for further inflows into waterways. Almost 900 megalitres a day was flowing down the river on Monday, which had reduced to 770 megalitres yesterday but Wimmera Catchment Management Authority expected water to flow over Horsham weir for the next fortnight. Expectations are that the water will flow beyond Dimboola.
