Demons set to visit Horsham
Celebrations of Melbourne’s historic drought-breaking AFL premiership will come to Horsham on November 14 with ‘A Day With the Demons’ at Sawyer Park.
A Day With the Demons will feature from noon to 5pm at Horsham Soundshell and involve a chance for Wimmera fans to meet and hear from some of the Demons’ premiership players.
Players already confirmed as Horsham visitors include Jack Viney, Angus Brayshaw, Bayley Fritsch and James Harmes.
Dougal Austin and Phil Splitter of DAPS Entertain and former Melbourne star Russell Robertson are hosting the afternoon.
Patrons will have a chance to ask questions to panellists, take photographs with players and a replica premiership cup and have an opportunity to take part in a live and silent auction for exclusive 2021 premiership memorabilia.
Live entertainment and a variety of food and drink options round out the event.
Limited general-admission tickets are available with freestanding seats in a first-comefirst-served scenario, with the option to bring your own picnic rug or fold-out chair also available.
The event will cost patrons $149 for a single ticket or $499 for a family of two adults and two children under 15, or one adult and three children under 15.
Melbourne beat Western Bulldogs for the AFL premiership this year, securing its first flag in 57 years.
