Horsham Australia Day awards open

Nominations are open for Horsham Rural City Council Australia Day Awards.

The awards recognise and honour individuals and groups who have made an outstanding contribution to the community.

Residents can nominate in three categories – Community Event of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year.

Citizen of the Year applies to people older than 25, while Young Citizen of the Year is for under-25s as at Australia Day next year.

People can nominate individuals via the council’s website, www.hrcc.vic.gov.au or with hard copy forms available at Horsham Civic Centre, by December 6.
