Beau calling all gamers

-

Horsham’s Beau Ladlow believes an online Fortnite gaming event will allow Wimmera adults to connect.

Mr Ladlow, founder of Wimmera program Level Up, said the gaming group had been running in-person youth events ‘for a little while now’ and had requests for adult events also.

“The average age of gamers in Australia is 33 and that tells me there’s a whole group of people in our region who are not connected by a gaming community,” he said.

“Through popular demand we will run a little all-ages Fortnite competition.

“There is a small tokenistic entry fee, which will make up a cash prize pool.”

Mr Ladlow said people wanting to join the competition could do so online by searching @Levelupgamingevents on Facebook.

The first online event will be from 6pm on Monday, with further sessions on November 9, 10 and 11.

Registrations close on Friday.
