Chrysanthemums for Mother’s Day

Wimmera Hospice Care Auxiliary members will be selling chrysanthemums in the lead-up to Mother’s Day this year to further support palliative care services.

Auxiliary member Rae Hill said chrysanthemums were a lovely and inexpensive way to say thank-you to mum and raise money for a good cause.

“Our aim is to provide essential medical equipment, at no charge, to those with life limiting illness, who wish to palliate at home,” she said.

Members have sourced the chrysanthemums from the region and will sell them for $10 a bunch at Horsham Plaza and 68 Natimuk Road between April 28 and May 7 from 10am to 4pm.
