Town swells with Easter delights
Organisers of Warracknabeal’s ‘Easter in the Beal’ say the celebration was a great success.
Visitors enjoyed music, a street parade, markets, races and easter-egg hunts and a golf tournament across four-days of festivities, formerly known as Y Fest.
Warracknabeal Action Group chairwoman Dianne Marchment said the weekend was ‘fantastic’ and attracted a variety of people and families to the town.
“The committee will meet soon to brainstorm and fine-tune for next year. They all did a great job to get the event organised in under eight weeks,” she said.
