Participation centre wins grant
A social and volunteer support organisation in Horsham has received an upgrade as part of a State Government grant for community infrastructure.
Centre for Participation has won a $14,339 grant from the State Government’s Multicultural Community Infrastructure Fund, to install upgraded storage and work spaces as well as a climate-control system.
Member for Western Victoria Jaala Pulford said accessible and safe community facilities were essential to ensure Victorians continued to recover from effects of the pandemic.
“We are committed to providing multicultural and multifaith Victorians access to modern facilities where culture and traditions are celebrated,” she said.
