$14.5m ploughed into grain studies
WA’s grains industry is set to become even more profitable, after a $14.5 million cash injection aimed at improving soils and boosting crop nutrition.
Federal Agriculture Minister David Littleproud and Grains Research and Development Corporation chairman John Woods unveiled the funding and projects in Perth on Monday, marking the firstof-their-kind collaborations between industry, government and universities.
GRDC is chipping in $8.3 million, funded by grower levies matched by the Federal Government.
