The next generation of Australian artists displayed their talents at Hatched 2018, the annual national graduate show, with a stunning showcase of contempora­ry art including sculptures, paintings, installati­ons and audio and visual works at the Perth Institute of Contempora­ry Arts. Opening night guests wandered throughout the exhibition and enjoyed live entertainm­ent and food trucks before University of Western Australia graduate Elham Eshraghian was awarded the $40,000 Schenberg Art Fellowship, impressing the judges with her “ambitious, layered and elegant” work on digital video, Bohran.
