Giving WA tourism wings
WA tourism will get a boost when Singapore Airlines announces today that it will raise its capacity on flights between Europe, North Asia and Perth.
Singapore Airlines operates four services a day between Perth and Singapore with stateof-the-art Boeing 787-10 and A350-900 aircraft. Its low-cost subsidiary Scoot operates a daily service. It is anticipated connection times to onward destinations from Perth will also be improved.
In the past 18 months, the airline has introduced one-stop services from Perth to New York, Los Angeles and Seattle. Premier Mark McGowan is also expected to reveal initiatives to attract new airlines to Perth.
