Sunny day at the sale
IT was a busy day at the Toowoomba saleyards on Monday.
The warm sunny day drew people from across the region.
There were plenty of kids accompanying their parents and grandparents while school holidays are still going.
The yards were looking full this week with a yarding of 1362, after there was a two week break in the selling program.
The market was slightly softer than at the previous sale two weeks ago.
Adele and Chazz Pearce from Clifton were happy to have sold steers at the sale on Monday.
“The prices weren’t as good as they have been, but that was to be expected,” Mr Pearce said.
