U12s play with heart and soul
RUGBY LEAGUE: The esteemed Bruton-O’Connell Shield was up for grabs and the Charleville and Roma under-12s teams fought hard for their chance at the top spot in Roma on the weekend.
Both teams showed great sportsmanship and played with great spirit and tenacity. With a final score of 44–0 to Roma, Charleville players showed a lot of heart and played hard right until the final siren.
Roma trainer Grant Lorenz said both sides showed great promise for the season.
“The Roma boys played really well,” he said.
“They did show some good signs on the weekend.”
