CATTLE MARKET REPORT
A TOTAL of 6927 head of cattle was consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 220kg topped at 312c/kg and averaged 266c/kg, weaner steers in the 220-280kg range reached 302c/kg and averaged 274c/kg. Steers in the 280-350kg range reached 306c/kg and averaged 278c/kg, and steers in the 350-400kg range reached 294c/kg and averaged 269c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-550kg range topped at 304c/kg and averaged 284c/kg. Cows and calves hit $720/unit.
