CHIPS re­lo­ca­tion suc­cess

THE Cul­tural Her­itage In­june Preser­va­tion So­ci­ety has been granted ap­proval by Mara­noa Re­gional Coun­cil to re­lo­cate one of the town’s most his­toric build­ings. The old Na­tional Aus­tralian

Bank build­ing will be moved to the In­june Multi-Pur­pose Precinct, sub­ject to con­di­tions.

The coun­cil also ap­proved the amal­ga­ma­tion of the two lots and will un­der­take com­mu­nity con­sul­ta­tion to up­date the Place­mak­ing Strat­egy.
