FULL strength Great Northern’s were to blame for one man blowing over the limit. Matthew Eric Blayden pleaded guilty in Roma Magistrates Court on Wednesday to driving while over the middle alcohol limit.
On October 5 at 11.30pm, Blayden was intercepted on McDowall St by Roma police. After being breathaylsed, he returned a reading of 0.178. He told the court he had been out drinking and had consumed four heavy Great Northern stubbies between the hours of 7-11pm. Magistrate Blanch fined him $350 and disqualified him from driving for one month.
