Festive bus service to get kids to school

The Western Star - - News -

SPREADING Christmas cheer while ensuring all students have the same opportunity to get to school is the driving force behind Renee and Rodney Waugh’s bus run.

The business is in its fourth school run. Owned by Renee’s late parents Ken and Lorelle Jump, it drives 40-50 kids to school every morning from Yuleba to Roma. Mrs Waugh said the free service is all about helping kids as well as the wider community.

“This family owned and operated business supports any local community events and celebrates the festive season by decorating the bus,” she said.

“Driver Julie Klein took over the driving after I broke my back and is an outstanding operator with the passion and commitment to the community’s families.

“She follows my commitment over the previous years in continuing on with adorning the festive season, driving the bus this year as the Naughty Little Elf.”

Mrs Waugh said with the drought continuing it is important they support the community in any way possible.
