1Global Village Multicultural Festival
Now in its sixth year, Global Village delivers three days of food, shopping and dance. The menu offers 70 options for international dining alongside a drinks list boasting 50 beers from around the world. Find something special at one of the 50 market stalls or get your heart pumping with 30 folk dance performances. 2Malaysia Street Festival
Celebrate Malaysia Day at this street market that pays homage to the great hawker food markets of South East Asia. Some of Melbourne’s best-loved Malaysian restaurants will make an appearance. Market stalls will offer handicrafts and massages, while members of the Malaysian community deliver music, dance and cultural performances throughout the day. 3Meyers Place Latin Fiesta
Inspired by the San Telmo street festival of Buenos Aires, Meyers Place Latin Fiesta is a melting pot of bohemian clamour and vibrant activity. Melbourne stalwarts Loop Roof, San Telmo, Lily Blacks and newcomer Pizza Pizza Pizza combine forces to present a roster of Latin crafts, dance classes, street performances, DJS, empanadas and sangrias in a CBD laneway. 4Oktoberfest in the Gardens
This year, Birrarung Marr will play host to one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations to hit Melbourne. The Bavarian festival will draw crowds with a flurry of German food stalls, roving performers and an extensive menu of imported beers, ciders and wine. This year, expect a silent disco, sideshow alley and a complimentary gift bag, which includes a 550ml event stein and a can of German beer.
