READY TO BE inspired? Global lecture series TEDX is back in Melbourne and its 2017 event ‘Rebels, Revolutionaries and Us’ promises to be the festival’s most daring and ambitious event to date.

For its eighth year, Tedxmelbourne will be focusing on those who’ve embraced controversy, taken the path less travelled and challenged themselves and others to speak up. The first round of speakers features former child soldier turned defence lawyer Deng Adut, businesswoman and philanthropist Susan Alberti, designer and digital craftsman Mond Qu and CEO and founder of Ozharvest Ronni Khan. More speakers will be announced soon.

Following the success of last year’s sellout event, Tedxmelbourne has expanded in size to support demand. Tickets for the day-long event are currently on sale. Rebecca Russo
